We appointed Mr. Richard J. Goodman as Director of International Affairs for KUTLO-NITT. And cooperation with State University of New York!   (May 7, 2010)

To promote the business operation in the United States, we appointed Mr. Richard J. Goodman as "Director of International Affairs for KUTLO-NITT". He is professors emeritus of SUNY Fredonia and has career that has kept doing "University-Industry International Collaboration" over many years.

And we formally concluded MOU (Memorandum Of Understanding) with SUNY Fredonia thanks to Mr. Richard in January, 2010. We began to think about new project "GATEWAY INITIATIVE" in it. This idea of project is that SUNY Fredonia becomes the GATEWAY of the SUNY 64schools and KUTLO-NITT becomes the GATEWAY of 11 Japanese universities, so we try to technology transfer and joint research using GATEWAY in Japan and US each other.

On May 7, 2010, many powerful local figures like President of SUNY Fredonia, Dr. Dennis Hefner, County executive of Chautauqua County, Mayor of Dunkirk, and President of chamber of commerce, etc. gathered and the opening ceremony was held to celebrate the project. The appearance at that time is introduced in SUNY Fredonia's web site.

The site start-up of Japan- the United States cooperation is scheduled as a start of this project. In the site start-up, there is cooperation from BIO-NY that is WEB-Site of NY official state and NYSTAR that is Foundation of NY state. We send all over the world the research seeds of SUNY 64 schools and Japanese 11 universities by using our GATEWAY. Our mission is creating the chance of the international collaboration by researchers in the United States and Japan, and the chance of technology transfer.
