Detection of actin polymerization using split luciferase
Why measure actin polymerization in live cells? Actin polymerization concerns wide variety of cellular events. Real time detection of actin polymerization in live cell helps to elucidate the mechanism of these events.
We invented a split luciferase probe to measure actin polymerization in live cell and animal. This probe permits long-term quantitative measurement of F-actin that has been difficult.
